South African Fanfare Amaryllis Bulb 16-19 cm. in circumference

Out of stock

This Fanfare is  a delicate miniature that yields 2 and 1/2 to 4 inch blooms on 12-14 inch stems.   It is a Sonatini which will withstand cooler temperatures.

Grown in the South of Africa.

Forcing time is 4-6 weeks after planting.

(They come out of dormancy quicker than Dutch varieties since they are grown in the Southern Hemisphere.)

The bulb is 16-19 cm. around the largest part of the bulb.

All bulbs are sized at harvest – shrinkage naturally occurs as they dry, but re-hydration plumps them up again when watered after potting.
