Description
Alasca is the beauty pictured here. It has been growing in the Southern Hemisphere and should bloom about 4 weeks after planting . The bulb was 27-29 cm. in circumference, (the distance around the outside of the bulb) when harvested. The bulb may have shrunk some as it dried but will plump up after planting and watering.
After the bulb arrives store it at temperatures around 55-60 degrees F. in a low humidity and well-ventilated area. If you are going to store it for a long period of time you may need to lower the temperature to around 41*F to keep the sprouts from popping up.
